The gravel adventure
The inaugural NOOSA RISE & GRIND is a mixed terrain 'gravel fondo' through the Noosa Hinterland & hosted by the historic Apollonian Hotel at Boreen Point on the shores of beautiful Lake Cootharaba.
Brought to you by the team behind Noosa Strade Bianche, NOOSA RISE & GRIND will be open to bikes of all persuasions.

Run what you brung! (although we recommend Gravel or MTB).
EXPERIENCE THE STUNNING NOOSA HINTERLAND
Take the time to enjoy the fabulous countryside on offer, the route takes place over a mixture of terrain. This is NOT a race; riders will be set off in waves.
Don’t Worry! You won’t go hungry, the Apollonian will be open early for coffees and breakfasts!
Online registrations are set to close @ 9pm on Thursday 13th of May 2021. Make sure you get your entry in early as numbers will be capped at 500 for 2021.
Entry fee includes refreshments at our on-course aid stations and at finish line, broom wagon support and on-course ambos.

As with all 'Prestige' events, you want to 'look the goods' whilst you are taking part. New kit day is always a pleasure.
The Noosa Rise & Grind 2021, will feature a brand new kit design, to make all your friends that don’t ride the event jealous!
Stitched together by the fabulous Tineli and featuring our wonderful logo artwork, the kit will soon be available via Tineli’s online shop.

NEVER FEAR - THERE'S ALWAYS THE SAG WAGON!
We are proud/pleased to announce that there will be a ‘sag wagon’ on duty during the Noosa Rise & Grind in 2021.
Ride Sunshine Coast are providing their services to assist with anybody that may require a helping hand during the day.
You can let it all hang out, with the peace of mind that should you crack, there is a supporting act!

The historic Apollonian Hotel, a magnificent reminder of the Gympie gold rush days, was relocated to the shores of beautiful Lake Cootharaba in 1987 and has been a social hub since the 1860s.
The Apollonian will be buzzing with the sound of bikes early in the morning on Saturday 15th of May.
As the start point of our 2021 gravel adventure, the Apollonian will be open early for coffees and breakfasts!
REMEMBER this is NOT a race; we will set riders off in waves from 8am. So you can enjoy your coffee.

As for the route specifics, these will be provided a week before the event and will be sent by email to those that have entered. What you can expect without a doubt, however, is fun, rewarding, and at times challenging, revealing great views and supported by refreshment stops along the way.
NOOSA HEADS ROTARY CLUB
Rotary is a very social community organisation. Fellowship and friendship is high among members. The Rotary Club of Noosa Heads meets on the first and third Tuesday each month for a meal, fellowship and planning. On the third Tuesday the club meets for a social night at a local restaurant. Membership comprises men and women, partners, business persons, professional groups, retirees, Mums and Dads together with young people all with a passion to get involved in supporting their community and local charities.
Noosa Rise & Grind is proud to be partnering with the Rotary Club of Noosa Heads.
Noosa Heads Rotary Club holds several major fund raising activities including sausage sizzles at Bunnings and the Australia Day breakfast together with Lion’s clubs. Rotarians are people of action. Proceeds from all events go toward their good work in the local community.
